Labour Market Assistance Award Classification Levels 2025–26

Rates effective 1 July 2025 · MA000099

Your classification level under the Labour Market Assistance Award determines your minimum pay rate. Being classified one level too low can cost you $2–4 per hour — more than $3,000 per year for a full-time worker.

Level 1Administrative Assistant

Base rate: $27.34/hr · Casual: $34.17/hr

Level 2Administrative Officer

Base rate: $31.49/hr · Casual: $39.36/hr

Level 3Employment Services Officer Grade 1

Base rate: $30.57/hr · Casual: $38.21/hr

Level 4Employment Services Officer Grade 2

Base rate: $32.89/hr · Casual: $41.11/hr

Level 5Employment Services Coordinator

Base rate: $36.47/hr · Casual: $45.59/hr

Level 6Manager Grade 1

Base rate: $36.47/hr · Casual: $45.59/hr

Level 7Manager Grade 2

Base rate: $41.90/hr · Casual: $52.38/hr
