Manufacturing Award Classification Levels 2025–26

Rates effective 1 July 2025 · MA000010

Your classification level under the Manufacturing Award determines your minimum pay rate. Being classified one level too low can cost you $2–4 per hour — more than $3,000 per year for a full-time worker.

Base rate: $24.95/hr · Casual: $31.19/hr

Level 2C12 / Vehicle Industry Level 3

Base rate: $25.85/hr · Casual: $32.31/hr

Level 3C11 / Vehicle Industry Level 4

Base rate: $26.70/hr · Casual: $33.38/hr

Level 4C10 / Vehicle Industry Level 5

Base rate: $28.12/hr · Casual: $35.15/hr

Level 5C9

Base rate: $29.05/hr · Casual: $36.31/hr

Level 6C8

Base rate: $30.05/hr · Casual: $37.56/hr

Level 7C7

Base rate: $31.19/hr · Casual: $38.99/hr

Level 8C6

Base rate: $32.45/hr · Casual: $40.56/hr

Level 9C5

Base rate: $33.60/hr · Casual: $42.00/hr

Base rate: $35.69/hr · Casual: $44.61/hr
