Ports & Harbours Award Classification Levels 2025–26

Rates effective 1 July 2025 · MA000015

Your classification level under the Ports & Harbours Award determines your minimum pay rate. Being classified one level too low can cost you $2–4 per hour — more than $3,000 per year for a full-time worker.

Level 1Ports Level 1

Base rate: $27.52/hr · Casual: $34.40/hr

Level 2Ports Level 2

Base rate: $28.58/hr · Casual: $35.72/hr

Level 3Ports Level 3

Base rate: $29.92/hr · Casual: $37.40/hr

Level 4Ports Level 4

Base rate: $31.42/hr · Casual: $39.28/hr

Level 5Ports Level 5

Base rate: $33.18/hr · Casual: $41.48/hr
