Real Estate Industry Award Allowances 2025–26

Allowances under the Real Estate Industry Award are extra payments for specific conditions, skills, or expenses. They are one of the most commonly missed entitlements after penalty rates.
Current allowances
| Allowance | Amount | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle allowance (car) | $0.98 per km | If you are required to use your own car for work purposes, you are entitled to a per-kilometre allowance. |
| Vehicle allowance (motorcycle) | $0.33 per km | If you are required to use your own motorcycle for work purposes, you are entitled to a per-kilometre allowance. |
| Mobile phone allowance | $50.00 per month | If you are required to use your own mobile phone for work purposes, you are entitled to a monthly allowance of 50% of the plan cost (up to a maximum of $100 per month). |
