Vehicle Repair Award Classification Levels 2025–26

Rates effective 1 July 2025 · MA000089

Your classification level under the Vehicle Repair Award determines your minimum pay rate. Being classified one level too low can cost you $2–4 per hour — more than $3,000 per year for a full-time worker.

Level 1Level 1 (RSR1) — Vehicle Industry Employee

Base rate: $25.40/hr · Casual: $31.75/hr

Level 2Level 2 (RSR2) — Vehicle Industry Employee

Base rate: $26.07/hr · Casual: $32.59/hr

Level 3Level 3 (RSR3) — Vehicle Industry Employee

Base rate: $26.70/hr · Casual: $33.38/hr

Level 4Level 4 (RSR4) — Vehicle Industry Employee

Base rate: $27.06/hr · Casual: $33.82/hr

Level 5Level 5 (RSR5) — Vehicle Industry Employee

Base rate: $28.12/hr · Casual: $35.15/hr

Level 6Level 6 (RSR6) — Vehicle Industry Employee

Base rate: $29.35/hr · Casual: $36.69/hr

Level 7Level 7 (RSR7) — Vehicle Industry Employee

Base rate: $30.68/hr · Casual: $38.35/hr
