Supported Employment Award Classification Levels 2025–26

Rates effective 10 October 2025 · MA000103

Your classification level under the Supported Employment Award determines your minimum pay rate. Being classified one level too low can cost you $2–4 per hour — more than $3,000 per year for a full-time worker.

Base rate: $24.95/hr · Casual: $31.19/hr

Base rate: $25.85/hr · Casual: $32.31/hr

Level 4Grade 4

Base rate: $26.70/hr · Casual: $33.38/hr

Level 5Grade 5

Base rate: $28.12/hr · Casual: $35.15/hr

Level 6Grade 6

Base rate: $30.68/hr · Casual: $38.35/hr

Level 7Grade 7

Base rate: $31.92/hr · Casual: $39.90/hr

Level 8Grade A (transitional — 1 July 2025 to 29 June 2026)

Base rate: $7.10/hr · Casual: $8.88/hr

Level 9Grade B (transitional — 1 July 2025 to 29 June 2026)

Base rate: $14.19/hr · Casual: $17.74/hr
