Call Centres Award Allowances 2025–26

Allowances under the Call Centres Award are extra payments for specific conditions, skills, or expenses. They are one of the most commonly missed entitlements after penalty rates.
Current allowances
| Allowance | Amount | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| First aid allowance | $16.03 per week | If you hold a current first aid certificate and are appointed as first aid officer, you receive a weekly allowance. |
| Meal allowance | $16.03 per meal | If you are required to work overtime and a meal break falls during that overtime, you are entitled to a meal allowance. |
| Headset reimbursement | $0.00 per item | If you are required to use a headset and your employer does not provide one, you are entitled to reimbursement for the cost. |
| Vehicle allowance | $0.98 per km | If you are required to use your own vehicle for work purposes, you receive a per-kilometre allowance. |
